💡 MY CREATIVE CHOICES:
The mysterious atmosphere is driven by an arpeggiated, reversed harp and layered atmospheric vocal textures. An aggressive brass stab plays consistently to maintain drive. A separate staccato vocal cycle is layered to provide an agreement nod to the rapper’s performance. The saturated 808 bass is used dynamically to deliver powerful sonic contrast while retaining its low-end presence.
🎚️ MY TECHNICAL CHOICES:
Created atmospheric depth using reverb-embellished vocal samples to complement the main rap vocal without compromising its dry punch. Applied spectral sidechaining to the 808 to prevent it from muddying the kick drum's impact.
